What Users Are Saying
Great kayak overall. Very stable in the water. Weight? a bit heavy at 90 lbs when there are no handles to grasp. Yeah they have two plastic formed ones on the middle/inside area of the kayak but try inverting your hand while tryi9ng to grasp this thing..ain't gonna happen! For one person this thing is heavy and hard to store/load in order to use. Very stable on the water though!
This is one of my favourite Wilderness Systems products. I love the Radar 135’s responsiveness allowing for easy acceleration and maneuverability, whether I want to make some miles or explore hard to reach areas via paddling or peddling. The Radar 135 also has amazing stability, which allows for movement on board to grab gear or to cast from a standing position. The Radar 135 meets my needs by far and has carried me on many adventures so far!
I have owned this kayak since it came out and it has held up great. The seat is very comfortable, the kayak is very stable and has a lot of track for all my accessories. It can be a bit heavy but is in line with al the other kayaks it competes against. Best features are the removable pod for your fish finder, having the pedal drive as an optional add on, and the amount of tracks. Overall a great fishing kayak that is one of the best on the market.
I have fished a Radar 135 for 4 plus seasons now. Fantastic ocean kayak. Lots of track rail and storage. Air pro max seat is comfortable and durable. With rinse after each use mine has stayed in great shape. The flex pod is an awesome feature for easy install and storage of transducer and battery. I have fished many miles off shore and landed large fish with ease on the Radar. With the Helix PD you can cruise at 2.5 to 3 knots at an easily sustainable pedaling pace.
