Upgrade from a Lifetime Sport Fisher. Love is Outlaw 11.5, stable and plenty of room for mods. Tracks ok for a battleship for fishing. I’m not looking for speed out of this kayak. The ability to stand is amazing and looks good on the water. Wish I could get out more often. Worth the $$$.
I'm an older dude, and this kayak is outstanding for tracking and stability. It is also plenty fast for me as I am paddling and trolling planer boards for 40+ pound freshwater stripers and not interested in setting speed records. The Perception Outlaw is also built like a tank, and is virtually impervious to sand and small stones. I couldn't be happier, and it is bad news on stripers.
